Hi, I’m Hisham
Pronounced hee-SHAM 👋
I grew up in Oualidia on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, so the ocean has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve now spent more than 10 years helping people learn to surf.
What I enjoy most is seeing someone go from nervous or unsure to catching waves with a big smile. I coach beginners and intermediate surfers, and I like to keep the atmosphere easy-going, friendly and encouraging.
I speak Arabic, French and English, so just talk to me in whichever language feels easiest.
My goal is simple: help you understand the ocean a little better, improve your surfing and leave the water wanting one more wave.
Small steps. Big progress
These are the things we’ll keep coming back to during a session, so you can take them with you when you surf on your own.
Read the ocean
Learn where to sit, which waves to choose and how to recognise what the ocean is doing around you.
Catch your own waves
Work on paddling, timing and take-offs so you can rely less on being pushed and feel more confident on your own.
Surf with more control
Improve your balance, direction and board control with simple feedback that matches your level.

“We booked as a small group and had such a good morning. It felt relaxed and personal, and being able to keep the boards and wetsuits for the rest of the day was perfect.”
One of Morocco’s most iconic surf destinations
